As Jim (Nathan) explained, the Agency for Healthcare Administration (AHCA) is the agency that denies or approves CON applications. Although there are many factors that weigh into their decisions, AHCA does provide consideration to the public comments it receives.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>There are a couple of ways the Lehigh community can voice their opinions. First, there will likely be a public hearing on the CON applications sometime in April. A public hearing must be requested and then AHCA will schedule a time and location (locally) to let the public share their views. People can also write AHCA directly to voice an objection or offer support of a project. They should address the letter to:<\/p>\n<p>Jeffrey N.
