State Farm representatives presented the school a check in the amount of $5000. This grant will be used to extend the school\u2019s current Good Neighbor program to include literacy initiatives and the new School-wide Positive Behavior Program.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to their involvement in service learning projects, students will have Good Neighbor Academic Goals. Students who have been involved in a service learning project and have met their academic goal will become a Lehigh Elementary \u201cGood Neighbor\u201d and receive a Good Neighbor t-shirt and be inducted into the school \u201cGood Neighbor Club\u201d.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Lehigh Elementary School, with help from State Farm Insurance, is encouraging school-based service learning projects that also promote academic excellence through literacy connections.
