The concert is free and open to the public; donations will be accepted.<\/p>\n<p>Participating will be Fountain Crest resident Ralph Boettger, well-known Lehigh tenor Ken Follett and Fort Myers Beach sopranos Alice Grawe and Tonya Reasoner. Jim Kreger, the music director at Faith Lutheran Church, will be on the grand piano.<\/p>\n<p>Some of the music to be performed includes &#8220;Someone to Watch Over Me,&#8221; &#8220;You Light Up my Life,&#8221; &#8220;I love you Truly&#8221; and &#8220;Zaina Zaina, Zaina.&#8221;<!--more--><\/p>\n<p><strong>General Woman&#8217;s Club to award scholarships<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The General Woman&#8217;s Club of Lehigh Acres will award several $500 scholarships to single parents with minor children living at home.<\/p>\n<p>Applicants must be a resident of Lehigh Acres and currently enrolled in continuing education classes at an accredited college, university or technical school.<\/p>\n<p>There is no pre-printed application form. The guidelines are:<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Resident of Lehigh Acres: Send proof of residence, such as a utility bill or rent receipt.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Provide street address and telephone number where you can be contacted; P.O Boxes will not be accepted.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Single parent with minor children living at home.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Name of college, university or technical school in which you are currently enrolled.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Brief biography that includes your area of study.<\/p>\n<p>Application must be received no later than April 20.<\/p>\n<p>Mail application information to Diane A.
