{"id":18994,"date":"2013-02-19T21:40:48","date_gmt":"2013-02-20T02:40:48","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/thelehighacresgazette.com\/news\/?p=18994"},"modified":"2013-02-19T21:40:49","modified_gmt":"2013-02-20T02:40:49","slug":"three-arrested-in-drive-by-shooting","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thelehighacresgazette.com\/news\/2013\/02\/three-arrested-in-drive-by-shooting\/","title":{"rendered":"Three Arrested in <Br>Drive-by Shooting"},"content":{"rendered":"<figure id=\"attachment_18995\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-18995\" style=\"width: 300px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><a href=\"http:\/\/thelehighacresgazette.com\/news\/three-arrested-in-drive-by-shooting\/arrested-3\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-18995\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-18995\" title=\"Arrested 3\" src=\"http:\/\/thelehighacresgazette.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/02\/Arrested-3-300x124.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"124\" srcset=\"https:\/\/thelehighacresgazette.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/02\/Arrested-3-300x124.jpg 300w, https:\/\/thelehighacresgazette.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/02\/Arrested-3.jpg 440w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-18995\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Angel Luis Salome, 18, Robert Lopez, 21, <br \/>and Dany Borges-Matos, 19<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The Lee County Sheriff\u2019s Office has arrested three men believed to be involved in a Monday drive-by shooting in Lehigh Acres that sent a man to the hospital.<\/p>\n<p>Angel Luis Salome, 18, Robert Lopez, 21, and Dany Borges-Matos, 19, are facing charges of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon and discharging a firearm from a vehicle.<\/p>\n<p>Salome is also facing a charge of possession of a bulletproof vest during an offense, and Borges-Matos is facing charges of marijuana possession and resisting an officer without violence.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>On Monday around 12:09 a.m., deputies responded to a call of shots fired in the area of <a href=\"https:\/\/maps.google.com\/maps?q=700+block+of+Roma+Avenue+South&amp;ie=UTF-8&amp;ei=KzYkUcXsAo-k8ATRzICQDg&amp;ved=0CAsQ_AUoAg\">700 block\u00a0of Roma Avenue South<\/a> in Lehigh Acres and came into contact with Emanuel Madrigal, 20, who had been shot in the leg., according to a sheriff\u2019s office report.<\/p>\n<p>Madrigal told investigators he was at a house party at a residence on Roma Avenue South and was standing outside when a white four-door vehicle drove up, and someone began shooting from the vehicle.<\/p>\n<p>Madrigal was hit in the leg and was transported Lehigh Regional Medical Center for treatment.<\/p>\n<p>He later told investigators he recognized the vehicle as one used by Salome.<\/p>\n<p>Deputies later located a white Hyundai Sonata that matched the description of the vehicle believed to be involved in the drive-by and pulled it over near the intersection of Sentinella and Bell boulevards in Lehigh Acres.<\/p>\n<p>Deputies found firearms, ammunition and a ballistics vest in the vehicle and took the three occupants into custody.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Lee County Sheriff\u2019s Office has arrested three men believed to be involved in a Monday drive-by shooting in Lehigh Acres that sent a man to the hospital.
