\"\"<\/a>Fraud seminars for seniors planned<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Lee County Sheriff’s Office will host a “Learn to Fight Fraud” seminar, followed by a question and answer session on:<\/p>\n

– Feb. 14: Christ United Methodist Church, at 1430 Homestead Road N., from 9:30-11:30 a.m.<\/p>\n

The seminar covers frauds and scams affecting seniors and their families; how seniors can recognize and report frauds and scams; and how to detect, protect and report health care fraud and abuse.<\/p>\n

Gutridge to speak at Women’s Club meeting<\/strong><\/p>\n

The General Women’s Club of Lehigh Acres’ will meet at 1 p.m. Feb. 15 at the Faith Lutheran Church. The speaker will be Larry Gutridge, Lee County Sheriff’s Office crime prevention specialist. Attendees are asked to bring donations for the Bake Less Bake Sale.<\/p>\n

Neighborhood Watch Block Party planned<\/strong><\/p>\n

The 3rd Annual Neighborhood Watch Block Party will be held from 8 a.m. to noon Feb. 16 at Veterans Park, at 55 Homestead Road S. Free admission and activities for the family.<\/p>\n

Concert band to put on Valentine’s Day program<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Lehigh Concert Band will present a Valentine’s Day program at 3 p.m. Feb. 17 at the Faith Lutheran Church, at 305 E. Leeland Heights Blvd.<\/p>\n

The band is recruiting members who have an interest in playing for the community. All interested<\/p>\n

Farmer’s Market set for Saturdays<\/strong><\/p>\n

A Farmer’s Market will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays at the Majestic Golf Club, at 350 Homestead Rd. The market will offer fresh fruits and vegetables, crafts, music and food vendors.
