The Lee County Sheriff\u2019s Office developed a close relationship with the Dubin Alzheimer\u2019s Center to develop the Lee Elder Abuse Prevention Partnership, which is a coalition among\u00a0Lee\u00a0County\u00a0human service providers and agencies created to promote awareness of elder abuse, neglect and exploitation.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Sheriff Scott is not only concerned with our elderly population but our young population as well. Sheriff Scott started the Teen Driver Challenge, a free 12 hour course designed to reduce the number of teen deaths due to car crashes. The Public Services Deputies have been instrumental in educating and improving the driving behaviors of 302 teenagers who have successfully completed the program so far.<\/p>\n<p>Other programs that Sheriff Scott has implemented are as follows:<\/p>\n<p>C.A.S.E.
