It\u2019s open for boys and girls ages 8 to 15. The deadline to sign up is Feb. 5. Practice starts Tuesday, Feb. 19 and games are played Wednesday evenings beginning Wednesday, March 6 through May 1.<\/p>\n<p>Ages, skill level and number of players will determine how many teams there will be and what level they will play. Player skill evaluations are run for the purpose of distributing talent as evenly as possible throughout the league. The cost is $25 per player, which includes game T-shirt. Checks can only be made out to the Sheriff\u2019s Youth Activities League. No cash will be accepted. A $10 facility membership fee is required to participate in all programs. All practice and games will be at Veterans Park Recreation Center on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. The coach is the single most important adult leader. You will help players learn skills, good sportsmanship, team and player development and have fun.
