The student gave school administrators the names of three students.<\/p>\n<p>The first two students were searched and nothing was located.<\/p>\n<p>The third student was also searched and nothing was located, reports said.<\/p>\n<p>As that third student was being escorted back to class, the security\u00a0personnel\u00a0\u00a0found a black book bag near the entrance to the boy&#8217;s locker room, reports said.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>According to LCSO reports inside the black book bag was a Hi-Point 45-caliber semi-automatic handgun.<\/p>\n<p>Also inside the bag were papers belonging to third student and a book belonging to the student\u2019s brother, reports said.<\/p>\n<p>Surveillance video shows student arriving to the school in the morning with the book bag, just before he was located by the security\u00a0personnel.<\/p>\n<p>The student was arrested and charged with possession of a weapon on school property.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>An East Lee County High School student was arrested Wednesday for bringing a loaded handgun to school, according to Lee County Sheriff&#8217;s Office reports.
