Fred Janke, LCSO K9 Unit Supervisor.<\/p>\n<p>Sgt. Janke says K9 officer Iron is home recovering after being attacked while trying to take down\u00a0Warren Jackson.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Jackson punched Iron in the face, in the snout, in the side of the head,&#8221; said Sgt. Janke.<\/p>\n<p>Thursday night, deputies responded to a domestic disturbance call involving Jackson and his girlfriend on\u00a0a Lehigh Acres street.\u00a0 After searching Jackson, they found cocaine on him.\u00a0 That&#8217;s when he took off on foot.\u00a0\u00a0Deputies tried to taser him but missed.<\/p>\n<p>Jackson is facing charges of obstruction and resisting an officer.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A Lehigh Acres man is behind bars Friday after deputies say he beat one if their K9s.
