The fire department decided to table a decision until they hear from their insurance company.<\/p>\n<p>Lambert says for the past year and a half, rattlesnakes have been slithering around his home &#8211; mostly in the wooded lot next door from a lot that the Lehigh Acres Fire Department owns.<\/p>\n<p>Lambert took his concerns to the Lehigh acres fire department\u00a0last month, hoping they could help find a solution before someone gets hurt.<\/p>\n<p>The fire department planned to decide on a solution &#8211; clear the land, hire a trapper or put up signs.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>But instead, they will wait to hear from their insurance company regarding liability since it&#8217;s their land.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Whichever way the insurance company says we are least liable is the way we will go,&#8221; said Lehigh Acres Fire Chief Don Adams.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Robert Lambert will be dealing with snakes near his home a little longer.
