The additional Mastec and Pike\u00a0crews are from Tennesee and\u00a0North Carolina.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: tahoma; font-size: small;\"><strong>LCEC does not de-energize the lines as the storm approaches. We allow Mother Nature to take her course and begin restoration as soon as it is safe to work.<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: tahoma; font-size: small;\">Crews will continue to restore outages that may occure as the storm approaches and will work right up until the winds are too dangerous.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: tahoma; font-size: small;\">Customers on life-support or dependent on power for health reasons are encouraged to have a back-up source of power or be prepared to stay with family or friends or go to a special needs shelter if widespread outages occur as a result of the storm.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: tahoma; font-size: small;\">During widespread outages, customers do not need to contact LCEC to report an outage. Please leave phone lines open for emergencies or reporting downed power lines.
