District staff is in close communication with Lee County Emergency Operations officials as well meteorologists as the storm churns toward our area.<\/p>\n<p>Administrators across the District have started their preliminary preparations in anticipation of the weather changing due to the storm. Each school has an emergency plan \u2013 as does the District \u2013 and those plans are starting to be implemented.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sanibel Island<\/strong><br \/>\nAccording to Sanibel&#8217;s city manager, they are monitoring the storm.
