Initiated by Joanie Jeannette, CEO of Lehigh Regional Medical Center, the main objective of the groups is to identify community health care and service\u2019s needs, share information, and work together to address the needs. The goal is to provide members of our community with the quality of care and services that exceed expectations, and set the standard for all SW Florida health and senior care services to achieve.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe have been meeting for about five months, and it is so exciting to discuss our common issues and goals, and each month share our progress. Our community will really benefit from the positive initiatives and patient care focus that all members are demonstrating and sharing\u201d said Joanie Jeannette, \u201cIt is an informal approach, but attendance has been a hundred percent each month, and great things are happening with all the member organizations.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Members at this time include; Lehigh Regional Medical Center (LRMC), Lehigh Acres Health and Rehabilitation (LAHR), Sterling House (SHLA), Fountain Crest Retirement Community (FTRC), Hope Healthcare Services (HSS), Florida Medical Affiliates (FMA), and the Lehigh Acres Senior Center (LASC).<\/p>\n<p>Meetings are held once a month, hosted in rotation at member facilities.<\/p>\n<p>Submitted by LRMC<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A number of health and senior care organizations in Lehigh Acres came together recently to create the Lehigh Acres Health Care Consortium.
