My entire life has always revolved around real estate. Where you live says a great deal about you as an individual. My husband and I bought our first home at the age of twenty-one. We knew that when we started a family, we wanted a place to call our own — our own home. <\/em>Back then, I never would have dreamed where my humble beginnings would take me!<\/p>\n

When it came time to sell our first home, the market was soft (it was hard to sell, it was a buyer’s market). I was not satisfied with my real estate agent’s efforts. Basically, she listed the home and then forgot all about us. She never even showed our home, not even one time! So, I got creative and took matters into my own hands. I hired a new agent and did all of the ad copy myself (my first job was as a copy writer for a local newspaper). I did such a good job with \u201cselling\u201d buyers on why our home was the home for them, I was able to arrange a trade! That’s not an easy thing to do!<\/p>\n

A few years later, my husband passed away right in the middle of selling our home! We had planned to move to another home in the country with five acres that had a more reasonable payment and raise our children in the fresh country air. We had FHA repairs at both the home we were selling and the new home. I had to decide if we should complete the sale and move or not. Those were certainly trying times but the new home renovations and knowing that my husband would have wanted our little family to move there helped me to make the right choice.<\/p>\n

I went on to have a career as a mortgage broker, small business consultant to real estate investors and become a credit expert. I have experience in both personal and business credit. I have helped hundreds of people understand credit, learn how and when to use credit, and how to maintain their credit as an asset. I’ve got over thirty years in business helping people achieve their goals of home ownership and business success.<\/p>\n

I have completed my real estate studies at Larson Educational Services in Fort Myers and am a proud member of the REALTOR\u00ae Association of Greater Fort Myers and the Beach, the Florida Association of REALTORS\u00ae, and the National Association of REALTORS\u00ae.<\/p>\n
