A Lexus drove into Azucar Cuban Restaurant in the Lehigh Towne Centre Friday afternoon.
The driver of the car confused the gas pedal for the brake.
A woman inside the restaurant was injured and taken to Lehigh Regional Medical Center with unknown injuries.
The Lexus had little damage and was driven away.
This accident happened right next door to my good friends’ store, Casey’s Craft Emporium…in fact, my other good friends, Skip & Linda Addison had just finished eating at the restaurant before the “crash”…They had just renewed their wedding vows at St. Rafael’s Catholic Church on Thursday, 5/31/12…I had a similar experience in Phila, PA. A car came crashing through the front window of a flower shop, right after I had been out front to fill the flower cart on the sidewalk. The whole experience can be very scary!! It’s a reminder abour how precious life can be and that the protective cover of my Savior, Jesus Christ is very real.
