Local Teachers Are Recognized

At the recent Education Awards Dinner local teachers were recognized.

Also five local students received scholarships from the Greater Lehigh Acres Chamber of Commerce.

This community event was sponsored by the Greater Chamber of Commerce.

  1. We would like the people to know that the Greater Lehigh Acres Chamber of Commerce and the Education Committee presented these awards. Also,when the Lehigh Acres Gazette copied this from the Chamber Website, the editor failed to point out that the Chamber also presented scholarships to graduating seniors. We believe all of these people worked very hard this past school year and deserve to be recognized.

  2. The Gazette was given verbal permission by the Greater Lehigh Acres Chamber of Commerce staff to copy the data off their website. Second Mr. Bright does not realize that these article was posted in the following sections of the Gazette — Chamber, Featured, Local and Schools.
