A group of folks who are 50 years old and up has been formed a Singles Mingle group at the Majestic Golf Club in Lehigh Acres.
Mary Lou Land, the event coordinator at the Majestic Golf Club on Homestead Rd. Extended the use of Divots lounge, to hold the Singles Mingle group event.
“I thought we would form a singles club and call it Singles Mingle,” Land said.
“We held our first Singles Mingle party last Friday night following a little advertising. We had a great time, but we would love to see many more people coming out to join us,” Land said.
This new social club is the brainchild of Land. She said she visited such types of singles club in Fort Myers and thought something similar to those would go over here.
The new singles club will meet every Friday at 6 p.m. There will be entertainment and dinner available.
We have great facilities here at Majestic. We have a great lounge that seats a large amount of people. We have an outside patio and we can have such social activities that include house parties, movie nights, game night, playing cards, dancing and other events.
“I’m really excited about it and I think the more singles we have, the more fun we will have,” Land said.
The Divot Lounge is open to the public as an excellent place to dine. Land brags about the good food served up and she says the menu can suit anyone’s tastes.
