Virginia Packer has collectively has done more than 11,434 hours of volunteering at Lehigh Regional Medical Center.
And if she’s not volunteering at the hospital, you’ll find her giving hours to the Sterling House where she interacts with the clientele who live there.
Honorary Mayor Ahmed El-Gendy was on hand when Liz Eilf, the director of the auxiliary at the hospital, presented Packer with a gift and she received congratulations from El-Gendy.
This awards program, hosted by Eilf, was held in the Lehigh Regional Medical Center’s cafeteria. It followed a ribbon cutting in the lobby of the hospital in observance of the gift shop, which has changed in appearance and carries many more items than before.
Eilf said the auxiliary has 60 members and most were there for the awards program and the ribbon cutting.
