Relay For Life is the premier fundraising event for The American Cancer Society. This is not a running event. Participants can walk the track, participate in many fun games and contests and choose from many different types of food items that will be available.
Highlights of the relay include:
2:00 p.m. Opening ceremonies and the survivors walking the first lap around the track
9:00 p.m. Luminary ceremony to remember those who have lost the battle with cancer and honor those who are still fighting or have won the battle with cancer.
10:45 p.m. Miss Relay Pageant – men get to dress as women and compete for the title of ‘Miss Relay”
7:00 a.m. Sunrise Service
8:00 a.m. Closing ceremonies

Krystal Walters
East Lee County Drama Club
Zumba with Ellie Lopez
There will also be:
Wing Eating Contest
Frozen Tee Shirt Contest
Blind Folded musical chairs
Scavenger Hunt
There will also be fun activities for the kids, lots of food for sale, drawings for many different types of items. Lots and lots of fun.
We hope everyone in the community will come out and participate. Everyone has been touched by cancer in some way and this is our way of fighting back for a cure.

Who: Everyone is invited
What: Celebration and fundraiser for anyone who has been touched by cancer or knows someone who has been touched by cancer.
Why an overnight event: To symbolize the fight that cancer patients make against cancer. The darkness represents the hardest and darkest hours of their battle with cancer. The sunrise represents their success in the fight.
