Our Florida Governor Ron DeSantis’ net worth has indeed surpassed now well passed $2 million. Some are attributing DeSantis’ increased financial worth largely due to earnings from his book, “The Courage to Be Free.”
According to his annual financial-disclosure report, DeSantis had a net worth of $2,087,550 as of December 31, 2024, and rising! That number has increased up, from $1,773,157 at the end of 2023. This increase is attributed to a $625,500 payment from HarperCollins Publishers LLC in 2024, the same amount he received in 2023, with the publishing company also paying him $1.25 million in 2022. DeSantis’ financial disclosure forms show a significant growth in his net worth, from $318,986 in 2021 to $2.3 million in 2024.
DeSantis self-reported that he has a $1.3 million in a savings account with Interactive Brokers, $573,109 in his USAA checking and savings accounts, $116,859 in the Florida Retirement System, and $99,803 in thrift savings, a type of retirement plan.
