Did you know that a recent study shows Tampa and Miami within the top three “rudest cities” across America?

In a study conducted by a company, Preply, an undisclosed number of people across the United States were asked about rude behaviors such as lack of self-awareness, talking on speakerphone in a shared space, and not acknowledging strangers. Miami was ranked number 1 as the worst, and Tampa as third-worst.
They came to their conclusion of ranking through applying scores to responses and adjusted them on a scale of 0 to 10.
Those in Miami were found to be the worst, followed by the city of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania at number 2, Tampa-3rd, Louisville, Kentucky-4th, and Oakland, California in 5th place.
Some of the common rude behaviors reported by Americans in this study include:
- Being loud in public or on the phone
- Having little self-awareness
- Not caring for others(apathy)
- Ignoring someone
- Cutting someone off in traffic
The study did not appear to take into account the recent vast number of those relocating from other cities outside of Florida, to now reside our state.
