Did you know a Disney employee was recently arrested last Friday in what Polk County Sheriff’s Office are calling a “horrific crime against children.”
40-year-old Paul Viel of Davenport, has been arrested on charges related to child pornography. Viel was specifically employed at the Disney World restaurant, Cosmic Ray’s. He was arrested along with 8 other men during “Operation, May’s Monsters”, a targeted anti-child pornography operation conducted by the Polk County Sheriff’s Office.
Nearly half of the criminal charges levied against the eight men, were charges against Paul Viel.
According to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office, Viel was in possession of many pornographic photos and videos of children ranging in age from newborns, to 8 years old. Allegedly, Viel chose to move here to Florida from Indiana to find employment with Disney so he would have contact with children.
During a news conference held by Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd regarding the operation and arrests, Jud described Viel as a “Sadomasochist…There were photos where they had tied up babies in preparation for sexual battery.” Judd went on to describe other possession of pornographic material found in Viel’s possession, but too graphic to describe here.
