Neighbors here on Parkdale Boulevard just off state road 82 have even had their fences torn down by these hungry animals.
Sarah Fraser saw the bear in her backyard. She said the bear was even caught on her camera.
“Friday night we had just laid down, and my ring camera went off, and we thought it was a raccoon or something, so I looked, and it was a big bear that just came through my fence and knocked over my trash can and was looking for something to eat,” exclaimed Fraser.
Fraser said seeing the bear has her worried about her dog.
“It was a little scary. Now we don’t let him out at night until we know it’s taken care of or something,” Fraser said.
Experts say there are ways to prevent bears from coming too close to your home.
