A brush fire sparked near a canal on Clyde Ave. S in Lehigh Acres.
According to the Lehigh Acres Fire Control and Rescue District, the fire was 1/8th of an acre, and crews were able to extinguish the flames.
Lehigh Acres Fire officials warned due to dry conditions, small sparks or embers can ignite big fires quickly.
