Fake “Conservative” political commentator Brendon Leslie is being sued for Pump and Dump crypto fraud. Leslie has latched on to Alfie Oakes, using Oake’s affiliation to get a recent interview with Governor DeSantis. Leslie recently launched his own political newsletter, Florida’s voice, pretending to be a Conservative, using the web page newsletter to defend RINO Establishment Republicans. Everything about Leslie is a fraud, so it is no surprise Leslie is being sued in Federal Court for Fraud.
Leslie was part of a group of swindlers who misleadingly promoted a meme crypto coin, “Let’s Go Brandon” and Leslie used his web page and online Patriot News program to artificially and fraudulently inflate the crypto value, leaving investors broke. This is a classic “pump and dump” scheme, where so sponsors hype a new product, misleadingly sell it to investors, then the original sponsors quickly sell, leaving the investors with something worthless. Leslie and his team knowingly sold something to investors that were essentially rubbish.
The plaintiffs are suing Brendon Leslie for Violation of Florida’s Deceptive & Unfair Trade Practices Act, Aiding and Abetting, Unjust Enrichment, Violation of Section 12 of the 1933 Securities Act, and Violation of Florida’s Security and Investor’s Protection Act. If found liable in this class action fraud lawsuit, Leslie and his crew could face millions of dollars in penalties and fines.
Another corrupt republican who woulda thunk it
I don’t like it when hit pieces are done on people. When someone’s character is impugned by stating they have a criminal record or were arrested/booked for criminal behavior, yet were either never charged or found guilty, I see that as a hit piece. This is because I am a big believer that people are innocent until found guilty. Nonetheless, if a case is still in process it would be naive of me not to take active and ongoing cases into consideration and under advisement. Thank you for bringing this to my attention. A few hours ago, a friend emailed me an update on this case. The Judge recently dismissed the case “without prejudice” do the plaintiff’s “shotgun” approach to litigation. This means the plaintiff may later refile pleadings, or political promoter Brendon Leslie may be off the hook for apparently promoting a crypto currency that later went bankrupt. We will have to wait and see how this legal drama unfolds.
