FHP are looking for a driver who left the scene of a crash after striking a utility pole in Lehigh Acres early Friday morning.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the unidentified driver of a pickup truck was traveling east on SR-82 around 1 a.m. when the truck traveled off the roadway right and collided with a utility pole near 40th Street Southwest. The driver continued to travel east and abandoned the pickup truck on Rod and Gun Club Road.
The driver ran away on foot. Anyone with information regarding this crash is asked to contact FHP or Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers.
