Seemingly harmless fireworks sparked a potentially dangerous brush fire today on Quentin Ave S. The fire threatened nearby homes but was contained by firefighters to approximately 1/4 acre before it was extinguished. We are currently in “Very High” fire danger conditions and extra caution should be used with any outside fire or other activities that could ignite the dry brush.
