Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers is looking for tips from the public after an armed robbery suspect entered the Dollar General located at 1154 Alabama Road in Lehigh on January 19, 2022, at approximately 9:50 p.m.
The unknown black male showed the victim a firearm hidden in the front pocket of a hoodie-sweatshirt and demanded money from the safe. The victim complied and the suspect immediately fled on foot and possibly got into a vehicle located across the street.
The suspect in last night’s robbery is also a person of interest in two other similar robberies which occurred earlier this week. If anyone has any information or can provide any assistance with identifying this subject is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-780-TIPS (8477). All callers will remain anonymous and will be eligible for a cash reward of up to $3,000.
