Did you know?

Did You know that a Florida Sheriff recently congratulated a homeowner for shooting an intruder?

According to local police, a Polk County resident claimed that an intruder threw a flower pot through the glass door of the home in attempt to gain illegal entry into the house. The homeowner then shot the intruder a total of three times.

Police arrived on the scene finding Steven Stillwell age 42, shot and on the floor. Stillwell was then transported to the hospital in critical condition.

During a press conference held last Wednesday by Polk County Sheriff regarding the intrusion, Grady Judd stated that “The homeowner did exactly what he should have…he (the homeowner) had a gun, he knew how to use it, it was loaded, and he shot him a lot. He gave him an early Christmas present. Only Santa Claus gets to come in your house – and Santa Claus is invited.”

Judd went on to state, “I’m proud of our homeowner for defending himself…It’s called ‘Castle Doctrine.’ He has the right to protect himself and his home from unknown intruders.”
