A car that burst into flames in front of a home in Lehigh Acres early Wednesday morning is now being investigated as arson.
The Lehigh Acres Fire Department Engine 103 responded to the fire in front of a home at 129 Pine Lane around 4:10 a.m. No one was in the 2002 Toyota Solara at the time and no one was injured. LAFD says it only took around 30 seconds to extinguish the fire.
The fire evidently started in the engine compartment of the vehicle. LAFD has handed the investigation over to the state and encourages anyone with information on who may have started the fire to call 1-877-662-7766.
