A slow increase in moisture combined with a front stalling out to the north of the area will lead to increasing chances for showers and thunderstorms over the region through the remainder of the week and into the upcoming weekend. Temperatures will run slightly above normal through the period with overnight lows in the upper 60s to lower 70s, with daytime highs in the upper 80s to lower 90s.
