A stationary frontal boundary will increase our rain chances this week. Expect scattered showers and thunderstorms throughout the Florida peninsula today, with the highest coverage being just north of Interstate 4. West-southwest flow throughout the day. Cloud coverage will provide a break in the heat and keep temperatures at or below the ’90s; however, the heat index can peak into the `100s. The isolated chance of a severe storm or two will be present.
Please consult with your local weather office for the best information for where you are.
