Did you know that Governor Ron DeSantis visited the Southern Border this past Saturday?
One month after sending thirty members of the Florida State Police to help at the Southern Border, DeSantis made his way to Texas to have a guided tour from Texas Governor Greg Abbott. While there, DeSantis also meet with the law enforcement deployed from Florida.
After the tour, Governor DeSantis held a press conference where he spoke on the rise in crime and drug trafficking that Texas is experiencing. Some of the arrests in Texas he explained, included charges for drug trafficking, human trafficking, and stolen vehicles.
Although Governor Ron DeSantis has spent time and Florida taxpayer resources in the State of Texas, he has not allocated any law enforcement as of yet to stop crime via illegal immigrants here in Florida, nor assist in deporting any of the millions of illegals presently here as well.
