The Lee County Board of Commissioners voted to enact a burn ban this morning (June 1st) for all of Lee County.
The ban will be for thirty (30) days. With the ban in effect, no open burning (campfires, bonfires, trash burning, and fireworks/sparklers) of any kind is authorized. BBQ grills may be used for cooking, but please use them safely.
