Ellis’s official cause of death is pending a formal autopsy.
Carpenter was arrested and charged with aggravated battery on a uniformed security officer.
Florida has seen an uptick in violent behavior by youth in recent months and years.

As more families are negatively impacted by the COVID-19 Virus shutdown, our antiquated DCF, Family Laws and their courts, the violence among youth only continues to surge.
According to the organization AdoptUSKids.org, there are approximately 19,000 Florida children placed in foster care across the State.
