Is the Lehigh Acres Fire Department and Fire Commissioners lying to the Lehigh Acres citizens again???

Chief Rob Dilallo

On Tuesday, Feb 16, 2021, Fire Chief DiLallo will be asking the Lee County Commissioners to approve a three-year Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity (COPCN) to Lehigh Acres Fire Control and Rescue District.

But the fire district has added a couple of things that the citizens of the Lehigh Acres will not like.

  1. The District’s Board is actively pursuing these strategies, including Basic Life Support Ambulance deployment in early 2021.
  2. A Treat No Transport Fee $150.00

The approved motion for the County Commissioners does not mention the two items above.

“Approve renewal of a COPCN to Lehigh Acres Fire Control and Rescue District to conduct advance life support (ALS) transport service and emergency medical care.”

It’s time for the citizens to find out the real answers and attend the Lee County Commissioners meeting 2120 Main Street, Fort Myers, FL 33901 at 9:30 am
