Since 20016 and the First Assessment, NO Cost-saving measures have been taken by the district:
• District in DEBT now by over 9 million dollars
• Has promoted personnel and has hired new fire personnel
• Has hired new Public Information Officer at 70K a year
• Has purchased replacement vehicles four chief vehicles, four new fire trucks, three ambulances two more on order, and two more fire trucks on order totaling nearly 4 million dollars.
• Three employee wage increases since 2016 and one still pending after the election.
• All employee benefits restored since 2016
• New bunker gear and radios to employees
• Still paying health insurance on retired firefighters totaling $15,224.92 monthly.
