Latest Coronavirus Updates: Bars, clubs to close for 30 days; restaurants limited to 50% capacity

As of Tuesday morning, there are 192 positive cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) in Florida. This number includes 19 cases of non-Florida residents diagnosed in the state. There are 5 total deaths in Florida.

In Southwest Florida, there are 11 total cases, with one in Charlotte County, four in Lee County, and six in Collier County.

Governor Ron DeSantis announced all Florida bars, clubs will close at 5 p.m. Tuesday and will remain closed for 30 days.

Restaurants are limited to 50% capacity. Seating needs to be staggered by at least six feet, and take out must be encouraged. Restaurants should also screen employees, DeSantis said.
