State Rep. Spencer Roach has filed an appropriations bill on behalf of the Lehigh Acres Fire Control and Rescue District for the funding to build new station 106.
“We are hopeful that the bill will be approved,” said Chief Robert Dilallo at the Oct. 29 board meeting.
The Fire District is asking State for $5 million to build the sixth station …. But here’s the catch, if the state approvals the funds for the sixth station the department has no money to fund the personnel for that station.
Guess our taxes will go up even higher now
