Tropical Storm Humberto continues to develop in the Bahamas

Late Friday night Tropical Storm Humberto got his name, and as of the 8 a.m. advisory from the National Hurricane Center, it is still considered a relatively weak tropical storm with winds up to 40 miles per hour, and moving to the NW at 7.

Humberto is going to take a similar path to Dorian a few weeks ago, with the main change being the turn to the north and eventually east will happen more quickly. That will take major impacts away from the U.S. mainland, but unfortunately, it means tropical-storm-force winds will move on top of the northwestern Bahamas who have already been battered by Hurricane Dorian.

Humberto is also expected to strengthen into a hurricane by early this week and while moving east, it will track toward the island of Bermuda.
