Lehigh Acres Fire sends personnel and engine to Miami

Lehigh Fire personnel with Lehigh Acres Fire Chief Robert Dilallo headed with others from Lee County Monday morning to provide relief for communities on the Treasure Coast who may be facing tropical-storm-force winds as Hurricane Dorian churns up the east coast of Florida slowly but surely.

Though deploying these resources may be costly, the department will get fully refunded for their time and efforts through the state and FEMA.

  1. Ever since the 2013 assessment fee change (cutting taxes for the wealthy) the fire dept and the commissioners have shoved higher and higher taxes up our ass , I hope the voters remember the commissioners then
