The Foundation for Lee County Public Schools, Inc. announces the election of their new Chairman.

Harlan C. Parrish – Executive Vice President & Lee County President of FineMark National Bank & Trust
Harlan C. Parrish, Executive Vice President & Lee County President of FineMark National Bank & Trusthas been actively involved with the Foundation Board for 20 years. He previously served as board chair from 2007- 2009. His continuous support of the Foundation’s programs include, Golden Apple, The Partners in Education- State of Our Schools Breakfast, Mentoring for the Take Stock in Children Program, and many more have made him a dedicated and valuable partner. The Foundation is thrilled to have Mr. Parrish back for another term.
Mr. Parrish states, “Education is the center- piece to Florida’s economic future.” “The greatest resource that our country has is the minds of our children, and that is why I am so passionate about our public school system. It is an honor to serve in this capacity.”
The Foundation also announces the reappointment of Dennie Hamilton and Michael Wukitsch.
Dennie Hamilton, Executive Vice President & CEO of LCEC has been involved with the Foundation since 2017 and is starting his sixth year with us as Treasurer. He is dedicated to many of the Foundation’s programs such as, the Take Stock in Children 5k, Classroom Grants, and STEM@Work, which makes him a strong partner of ours.
Michael Wukitsch, Chief Human Resources Officer for Lee Health is continuing his role as Secretary for the Foundation. Lee Health has be involved with the Foundation for many years and has been dedicated to Golden Apple and our College & Career Initiatives.

The Foundation for Lee County Public Schools provides vital resources and programs to students and educators throughout the School District of Lee County. Foundation board members are assigned to committees and act as liaisons to the business community and community at large through engagement and awareness.
