SWFL Crime Stoppers looking for Armed suspect sought in early morning robbery

Crime Stoppers is once again asking for the public’s help identifying an armed robber who is still at large.

Just before 2:30 a.m., on May 2 an unidentified male entered the 7-Eleven store, located at 15261 Convenience Way.  After walking up to the fountain drink area, he proceeded to the register, pulled out a firearm and demanded all the cash from the drawer.  In fear for her life, the clerk complied and handed over an undisclosed amount of money placed in a plastic bag.  The suspect immediately fled the store on foot in an unknown direction.

He is described as a white or Hispanic male, who was wearing a black hoodie and tan pants.  Anyone with information on the identity or whereabouts of the suspect is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-780-TIPS (8477).  All callers will remain anonymous and will be eligible for a cash reward of up to $3,000.  Tips may also be made online at www.southwestfloridacrimestoppers.com or by submitting a tip on the P3Tips mobile app.
