It is with great pleasure to announce the creation of the Disabled Republicans of Southwest Florida! The Disabled Republicans of Southwest Florida is the first of its kind club in Florida whose primary goal is to include disabled conservatives and their advocates in governmental and political discussion. The purpose of this club is to educate, engage, and encourage participation of disabled conservatives and their advocates in local, statewide, and national political and government affairs.
Our first guest speaker will be Roger Lolly, founder of the If I Can Dream foundation and candidate for State Representative, District 78. The If I Can Dream foundation is a nonprofit that breaks down barriers by providing a lifespan of services that educate, employ and empower people within the community. Its programs and services include High School education, school-to-work transition services, vocational training, career counseling and placement and workforce diversification assistance to children, adolescents, and adults.
The first meeting of the Disabled Republicans of Southwest Florida will be held on July 11th, 2019, at the Lee County Republican Executive Committee headquarters located at 7050 Winkler Road, Suite 103, Fort Myers, FL 33919. Doors will open at 6:30pm with the meeting starting at 7:00pm. The meeting will last approximately one hour.
The power of government belongs to the people and it is time for disabled conservatives to have a say in this important discussion. It is time for disabled citizens to be equally represented by the Republican Party. Join the Disabled Republicans of Southwest Florida in our efforts to give a voice to the entire conservative community so that we can build an even greater America!
