A car caught on fire near the Lee County Solid Waste facility.
Firefighters said the fire started burning when a gas line busted right after the owner had just filled the gas tank up. It happened off Buckingham Road shortly after 2 a.m. near the Lee County Solid Waste facility.
Nobody was injured.
The grass beneath the car also caught on fire before crews were able to get the flames under control using foam.
Deputies blocked Buckingham Road while crews battled the fire. The scene has since cleared.
