The Family Dollar store along Homestead Road North in Lehigh Acres had to close for more than an hour Monday after a man accidentally crashed into one of the store’s entrances.
Store workers were cleaning up glass, pieces of metal and plaster left when the white pickup truck rolled over a concrete parking stop and into the door and wall.
Nobody was hurt and the truck left under its own power shortly after the 1:30 p.m. crash.
The store reopened at 3:30 p.m. Monday.
