One acre fully involved brush fire on Anthony St E off of Sentinela. It seemed to be larger than it was due to the pile up of undergrowth in that area which caused a lot of smoke in the neighborhood.
The Lehigh Acres Fire Department had it well contained within 35 minutes of the 911 call.
Due to the nature of the winds, a second alarm was call to the brush fire just in case. Florida Forestry was also there near the end to help mop up.
This brush fire is under investigation.
