All lanes of Joel Boulevard at Greenbriar Boulevard were blocked after a vehicle crash.
It happened Saturday just before 9 a.m. There are major injuries involved requiring a helicopter for transport.
Witnesses at the scene told us that a Cadillac Escalade struck a Toyota 4Runner in the driver’s door.
According to the report, the driver had to be extricated from the 4Runner by Lehigh Acres Fire and Rescue and was flown by Med Flight to Lee Memorial Trauma Center.
