A Lehigh Acres man was arrested Saturday in South Carolina as a suspect in a Massachusetts murder case.
Michael Noguera, was arrested by the Horry County Police Department.
Photos in a local gas station in South Carolina helped locate Noguera and officers pinpointed him from there. Authorities from there went to the home where he was thought to be and arrested him without incident after a group of teenagers riding their bikes near Easton, Massachusetts, found Daniel Smith, 35, laying on the ground with a gunshot wound Tuesday, CBS affiliate WBZ-TV reported.
Noguera is facing charges of accessory to murder after the fact, armed robbery and larceny over $250, Massachusetts police say. Noguera also faces charges in South Carolina, including being a fugitive from justice.
Noguera was taken to the J. Reuben Long Detention Center and is being held on extradition to Massachusetts, according the spokesperson for the Horry County Police Department.
