BUPAC, a group that meets weekly to hear a candidate speak and answer unfiltered questions from the audience for an hour, issued its endorsements for the November election.
Candidates had to win a two-thirds majority to get the nod.
*Sheriff Mike Scott won endorsement over NPA opponent James Didio.
*Jeanne Dozier was endorsed for Lee school board district 2 over Melisa Giovannelli.
*Jane Kuckel won endorsement over Don Armstrong for School board district 6.
*Cathleen Morgan won endorsement over Chris Quackenbush for school board district 7.
*Commissioner Larry Kiker was endorsed over a write-in opponent.
Races for the Supervisor of Elections and for Lee Commission District 5 failed to produce the two-thirds margin for victory.
